Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic Keep the equipment moving that keeps Oklahoma's road construction projects moving. Tri-Star Construction is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment and/or Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic . If your experience is primarily with heavy construction equipment OR heavy-duty trucks, we want to hear from you. Experience with both is a plus, but not required.

Pay:

Starting at $22 / hour, with higher pay based on experience, qualifications and skill set What We Offer Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits Weekly pay Plenty of Overtime Safety pay Paid vacation Employee referral bonus Annual safety boot voucher What You'll Do Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and/or heavy duty trucks Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, emissions, and other mechanical systems Perform shop and field repairs to minimize equipment downtime Weld and fabricate components as needed, if qualified Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records What We're Looking For Experience as a heavy equipment or heavy truck diesel mechanic ; experience with both is a plus but not requred 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Welding/fabrication experience is a plus CDL is a plus Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing The Job This is a hands-on shop and field position. Field repairs at active construction jobsites are part of the job, and work may be performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of diesel/heavy equipment repair.
