We are currently recruiting diesel technicians and mechanics to join our team! Duties include the repair and maintenance of ambulances and vans in a timely and accurate manner. Specifically, engine and fuel systems diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting and repair, brake and electrical system work, front line mechanic inspections and preventive maintenance. Competitive salary dependent on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid driver's license High school diploma, or equivalent education 2 years recent and verifiable Line Mechanic experience 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification Proficient with computers Must have a full set of personal tools (specialty tools will be provided) Excellent customer service and interpersonal verbal and written communication skills An ability to prioritize multiple tasks Maintain a safe and clean work area Ability to read, interpret, understand and complete repairs utilizing repair manuals Applicants must meet Metro West Ambulance's motor vehicle record, National/Federal and criminal background check, drug & alcohol screening, and physical requirement standards.
