Schedule:
M-F, 1:30 PM to 12:00AM Occasional Overtime Required. Overtime also available . Competitive Compensation Starting at $29.55+/per hour DOE $2.00/hr additional for CDL Holders or after CDL is obtained.- Paid CDL Training!

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Candidates for employment must meet position requirements and successfully pass post offer employment examinations including: Background Check MVR Check (Clean driving record) Drug screen .RESPONSIBILITIES
Union Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet of 125 garbage trucks. Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Performs diagnostics and repairs on engine, aftertreatment, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems (12V and CAN) Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks. .REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required) 3+ year experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair Provide personal tools. ClassB CDL OR
the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.
