Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. In this energetic role, you'll leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery used across various industries. Your hands-on skills will keep our customer fleets and equipment operating smoothly, supporting our commitment to excellence and efficiency. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension checks, and alignment adjustments to maximize equipment lifespan Fabricate parts and components using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair or customization needs Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes to accurately identify issues and implement solutions Conduct inspections of vehicle systems for safety compliance, including air brake systems, shocks & suspension components, HVAC systems, and vehicle electrical systems Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
