The position is Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, and who can follow instructions and work independently. Requirements include, but are not limited to: Prefer one year's diesel mechanic experience Prefer one year's experience with mobile refrigeration Must speak English well enough to take instructions from supervisor and communicate with fellow employees and customers Valid driver's license Must own basic hand tools Prefer to have direct experience as a diesel or heavy-duty equipment mechanic Must possess the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with reasonable accommodations Must maintain acceptable work standards Must be able to write legibly and follow repair orders Tasks and duties include, but are not limited to: Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle repair. Perform basic service/inspection of diesel-engine vehicles Remove, clean, repair, reinstall and adjust all vehicle components Manually inspect all brake repairs Safe use of all power and hand-held mechanic's tools Select appropriate action for all vehicle repairs during the diagnostic process Respond to all assigned requests for roadside assistance or repair of company-owned vehicles Evaluate completed work and conduct final inspection of equipment prior to release back into service Please email your resume if you feel you are a good candidate for this job opening.
