Job Description
Multiple Pittsburgh-Area Openings Available Competitive Pay and Benefits | Immediate Start ABC Transit Inc. is looking for experienced, dependable Fleet Mechanics to join our team. We have multiple openings throughout the Pittsburgh area, giving qualified candidates the opportunity to work close to home. In this hands-on position, you'll help keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community. We're seeking skilled mechanics who take pride in their work, solve problems efficiently, and understand the importance of properly maintained vehicles. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on fleet vehicles. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Service both diesel- and gasoline-powered engines. Troubleshoot engine, brake, electrical, steering, and other vehicle systems. Complete repairs accurately and efficiently. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Keep accurate maintenance and repair records. Help ensure all vehicles meet company and applicable safety standards. What We're Looking For Previous automotive, diesel, truck, bus, or fleet maintenance experience. Experience working with both diesel and gasoline engines is preferred. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Ability to supply a résumé or summary of relevant work experience.
