Huntingdon Valley and Frankford Ave, Philly Join the JDM Materials Team JDM Materials Co. is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and understands the importance of keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for service . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of diesel truck repair and maintenance experience and be comfortable diagnosing and repairing a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and routine service Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems Perform engine and drivetrain repairs Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems Diagnose electrical and electronic systems Perform brake, suspension, steering, and related repairs Complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements and safety standards Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance Work effectively with other mechanics, drivers, and management Help ensure trucks are safe and properly maintained before returning to service Experience & Skills We are looking for a mechanic with strong hands-on experience in: Diesel Engines Hydraulics Electrical & Electronic Systems Truck Diagnostics Preventative Maintenance DOT Regulations and Commercial Truck Safety Requirements Experience working on Oshkosh Mixer Trucks is a plus.
