Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician Hiring Immediately Job Type:
Full-Time, Direct Hire Work Location:
In Person Schedule Monday through Friday 4:00 AM to 3:00 PM Some Saturday work required Saturday hours typically 4:00 AM to 8:00AM Compensation Starting Rate:
$29.67/hour After 1 Year (Class C to Class B): $30.56/hour After 2 Years (Class B to Class A): $36.75/hour Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Nine Paid Holidays Permanent Direct Hire opportunity Position Summary Seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, machinery, facilities, and mechanical systems. Essential Responsibilities Perform diesel engine and heavy equipment repairs. Maintain and repair machinery, mechanical equipment, and building systems. Diagnose equipment failures and determine repair solutions. Perform preventive maintenance. Repair or replace electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers. Assemble and install machinery and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Perform building and grounds maintenance. Maintain maintenance records. Perform welding and torch cutting as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Welding experience required. Experience with hand and power tools. Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and dexterity. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or maintenance technician. At least one year of diesel engine, truck, or heavy equipment experience. Basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge. Additional Requirements Must pass background screening. Must pass substance screening. Must be authorized to work in the United States. #3245LIBenefits
