Aerotek is hiring a Diesel Mechanic paying $30 Hr!
WEEKLY PAY!
!!! Join a well-equipped industrial garage as a Diesel Mechanic , working a consistent Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM schedule โฐ . You'll perform advanced maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles while ensuring safe, reliable operation. ๐Ÿ”ง Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems Perform preventive maintenance inspections and correct issues proactively Complete and document work orders, labor hours, and parts usage ๐Ÿ“ Test vehicles post-repair, including road testing โœ… Respond to emergency breakdowns and roadside repairs ๐Ÿšจ Maintain accurate records in fleet management systems ๐Ÿ’ป Follow all OSHA and safety standards โš ๏ธ Collaborate with team members and communicate updates clearly ๐Ÿค โœ… Qualifications 5+ years of diesel/heavy equipment repair experience (or equivalent) Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting At least one ASE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) ๐ŸŽ“ Ability to obtain CDL (Class A or B) within 6 months ๐Ÿšš High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable using maintenance software and computer systems Ability to handle physical demands and use personal tools ๐Ÿงฐ โญ Preferred Technical school, apprenticeship, or military training Additional ASE certifications Experience with dump trucks, fire trucks, and heavy equipment ๐Ÿ’ฐ Why Join? $0 health insurance premiums ๐Ÿฅ Annual pay increases (~3%) ๐Ÿ“ˆ Extra raises for each ASE certification (up to 8) ๐Ÿ’ต ASE test reimbursement Stable, team-oriented shop with consistent hours ๐Ÿญ Work Environment Work in a busy, team-driven garage alongside experienced mechanics ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ง๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ”ง, servicing a wide range of heavy vehicles.
