Job Description

SANDS FORD OF POTTSVILLE - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
Sands Ford of Pottsville is looking to hire an experienced automotive technician for our busy service department. The ideal candidates must be reliable, trustworthy and committed to work in a fast paced environment dealing with customers concerns. We offer paid factory training, paid vacations, holidays off, health insurance and a 401k plan.
New Dealership:
This all new, state of the art facility has 20 service bays (including 4 heavy truck lifts) and
AIR CONDITIONING.
It is also equipped with the latest Ford diagnostic equipment. Sign on
Bonus:
A sign on bonus of up to $2500 will be paid to the right technician based on their credentials and skill level. A Ford certified Senior Master Technician is preferred but anyone with factory certifications from any automobile manufacturer is encouraged to apply. Diesel experience is a plus. Details on this will be discussed during the interview.
Compensation:
Hourly and Flat rate pay plans available. Rates up to $40.00/hour will be determined by experience and factory certifications Responsibilities include: Servicing and repairing cars and trucks at a professional level Diagnosing of drivability and electrical problems of all systems Diagnosing and repairing of all Ford diesel engines Diagnosing and repairing of gas engines Diagnosing and overhauling automatic and manual transmissions Performing vehicle inspections and completing related repairs Assist with preparing estimates for repairs Review customer history and recommend needed maintenance items Must be able to work with multiple websites Must maintain training certifications by completing on line courses Qualifications needed: At least 3 years of experience in an automotive/truck technician A clean driver's license Must be able to pass a back ground check and drug screen State inspection license Must have your own tools Reliable transportation Excellent oral and written communication skills A positive attitude and a desire to exceed goals
