Job Posting - Mechanic Specialized Professional Services Inc. (SPSI) is an established national and growing hazmat/environmental services contractor headquartered in Washington, PA. SPSI is hiring a full time Mechanic Monday-Friday afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).

Job Responsibilities:

Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions. Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts. Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts. Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown. Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance. Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks. Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles. Experience with heavy equipment, small engines is preferred. Diesel Mechanic experience preferred. Previous experience maintaining and repairing air brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems and ABS brakes preferred. CDL License required.

Salary:

$26-28.00/hour based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma At least 21 years old Must pass drug and alcohol test, physical, background check and driving record check. Proficient in English (oral and written) The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed. The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed.
