Job Description

Diesel Mechanic Joseph J. Brunner Inc. — Zelienople, PA | Full-Time Monday-Friday + Saturday half day. We cover your health insurance premium and your deductible.
Hours:
Anticipate closer to 55 on average. Some weeks may see up to 60 hours depending on how busy it is. If you want the hours, they are available. Start time is 6-7am.
Pay:
Expect on the low end, $75,000, and on the upper end, somewhere between $90,000-$100,000 per year.
PAY & BENEFITS
$25-$27.50/hr based on experience. Annually, between $74,000 to $90,000+. 50-55 hrs/week — consistent overtime every week Highmark BCBS — premium and deductible covered by us 401k + profit sharing (3-5% of annual pay) Christmas bonus + added pay on holiday weeks Paid vacation Life insurance + short-term disability Free Uniforms + Boot Reimbursement THE JOB You'll assess, diagnose, and repair a fleet of heavy diesel garbage trucks and light trucks in our shop. No two days are going to be the same in this job.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, and electrical systems Engine diagnostics and repair Performing preventative maintenance, including tires, greasing, and brake jobs Keeping accurate maintenance records Following written and verbal instructions from the Shop Manager
REQUIREMENTS
Diesel mechanic experience required Heavy truck or commercial vehicle experience strongly preferred Hydraulic system experience a plus Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Own tools required
