Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining modern agricultural equipment, including planters, tillage equipment, hay tools, and precision farming systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with hydraulic systems, and familiarity with ISOBUS technology and precision agriculture components. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tillage, seeding, planting, hay, and spraying equipment Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Diagnose and resolve ISOBUS communication issues between tractors and implements Install, configure, and support precision agriculture systems and monitors Perform equipment assembly, inspections, and pre-delivery preparation Complete warranty repairs and document findings accurately Conduct preventative maintenance and seasonal service work Utilize diagnostic software and service manuals to identify and correct issues Travel to customer locations as needed for field service calls Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment 1+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred Experience with heavy equipment, or agricultural equipment Ability to read diagnostic software and service manuals Valid driver's license required Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience servicing agricultural or heavy equipment Experience with ISOBUS systems, implement controllers, and tractor integration Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies including GPS guidance, rate controllers, and section control Experience troubleshooting CAN Bus communication systems Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in shop and field environments Forklift experience is a must Benefits/Compensation $25-$30+ per hour based on experience Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
