We are actively searching for experienced Diesel Technician Instructors for a well-established operation near Addison, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at a state-of-the-art facility that provides OEM-level training to diesel technicians at various levels. Prior instructor experience is preferred but not required—candidates with strong dealership-level experience and a deep technical background will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruct and deliver OEM-level training to groups of up to 15 technicians Conduct public speaking and presentations, ensuring clear and effective communication of technical material Collaborate with the training center team to develop and expand the current training programs Travel up to 12 weeks in the first year for out-of-state training and certification Work remotely from home on non-teaching days, focusing on generating sales leads and preparing course materials Maintain a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail in training delivery Support the growth of the training center by assisting in training sales and ongoing development projects

Qualifications:

Extensive hands-on experience as a Diesel Technician (dealership experience preferred) Comfortable presenting to large groups and leading technical training Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Attention to detail, with a commitment to following established course materials and protocols Open to traveling for training and certification during the first year Interest in transitioning into a training and development role

Compensation:

Up to $100,000.00/year base salary + bonus structure & additional incentives for bringing in training sales Full Benefits Package - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD & LTD, 401k, etc. Potential relocation package for the right candidate
