What You'll Do As a Diesel Technician at Eastern Waste, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our truck fleet.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot diesel engines and perform electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repairs Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues Determine what parts and tools are required to make repairs Follow checklists and protocols when conducting repairs Performing preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability Input and maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs Track parts inventory and order parts as needed Working independently with a strong sense of responsibility Support coworkers and be a good team player What We're Looking For Proven diesel mechanic experience Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems Experience with various vehicle and engine types Strong work ethic and ability to work independently CDL license preferred Welding experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits This position offers competitive pay based on experience along with a full benefits package, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Retirement plan Career development and advancement opportunities Employee referral bonus program Why Join Eastern Waste Services?
