We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to perform quality repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Key Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Complete routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, battery checks, and inspections. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic software and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify and correct vehicle deficiencies. Perform adjustments, alignments, and road tests as required. Accurately document repairs, inspections, work orders, and required state/emissions paperwork. Organize and prioritize work to maximize efficiency, productivity, and safety. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on diesel technician experience , preferably at the Level A Technician level. Strong knowledge of diesel engine, mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems. Experience using current diagnostic software and tools. CDL preferred; willingness to obtain a CDL is a plus. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Pay:

$30.44 - $40.06 per hour
