Diesel Mechanic - Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks & Equipment Florence, SC We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks, air compressors, and generators. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills and DOT inspection experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Conduct DOT annual inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations Service and repair compressors and generators Maintain accurate service records and work orders Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed Service and repair of small engines as needed Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic on medium/heavy-duty trucks and equipment Valid DOT inspection certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Valid driver's license Own tools required Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic software Knowledge of

DOT/FMCSA

regulations Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions High school diploma or

GED Preferred:

Experience with compressor systems ASE certification(s) CDL Welding/fabrication experience Use of Fleetio and Motive systems

Pay:

$34.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
