This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in demanding industrial environments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inspect vehicle and equipment systems to identify mechanical and electrical issues Consult with management and review work orders to determine required repairs Scope issues thoroughly and prepare appropriate work plans Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, and other related components Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety Work performed outdoors/indoors in all weather conditions Exposure to extreme temperatures and noisy environments Heavy lifting and work around large machinery Perform additional duties as assigned Company offers a competitive benefit package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k) match and paid time off.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid DL (CDL preferred) Acceptable driving record Must be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company and customer site requirements Ability to pass pre-employment, random, and annual drug screenings Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, vehicle systems, and repair equipment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong understanding of electrical systems and diesel engine mechanisms Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed Must be safety-conscious with a strong work ethic Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Palmetto Industrial Services, Inc. is a family-owned company dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of industrial cleaning services to a diverse customer base across the Southeast.
