Job Description Diagnose problems and maintain a variety of material bulk handling equipment Assist in the transportation and movement of mechanical bulk handling equipment Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, conveyors, and pulley assemblies Perform stick welding and/or cutting torch operations as needed Align machines and equipment for proper operation Assemble machines and fasten them to foundations or structures using bolts, welds, rivets, etc. Repair and lubricate material bulk handling machines and equipment Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on equipment, and adjust Operate a variety of equipment such as cutting torch, welder, forklift, hand tools, and electric meters Lubricate moving parts, examine and operate repaired equipment to verify conformance to specifications Perform activities of co-workers as directed Take direction and report to the Terminal Maintenance Supervisor As a member of the general maintenance crew, perform duties such as greasing/lubricating bearings, rollers, belts, overhead crane bucket, crane cable repairs, etc. Participate in discharging of vessels Perform other functions as trained and assigned Employee Value Proposition (EVP) Kinder Morgan offers a strong package of benefits and incentives to support its employees: All tools provided, plus \$200 in PPE annually Mostly 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM); rotating 12-hour shifts ~12 times/year during vessel unloading Average 60 hours/week Performance-based annual raises Quarterly safety bonuses Company bonuses based on total hours worked Pension funded and 401(k) with 4% company contribution (no match required) 120 hours PTO annually, with 80 hours rollover Paid holidays off Weekly trainings Clothing and PPE provided Opportunities for advancement within a large national company, including relocation Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huger, SC.
