We are currently hiring a diesel mechanic for a commercial utility shop. This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining work trucks, construction equipment, and other fleet equipment used in the field. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and completing repairs to keep equipment safe and operational. We are also willing to consider a strong automotive mechanic who is interested in transitioning into commercial and heavy equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on work trucks and equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical issues Perform oil changes, fluid services, brake repairs, and other routine maintenance Service and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and construction equipment Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary repairs Maintain accurate maintenance records Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications:
