Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and vehicles
• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as fuel injectors, pistons, or valves
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and make necessary repairs
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs
• Operate heavy equipment, such as forestry machinery, for repair purposes
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair procedures
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, such as heavy machinery
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
• Experience with HVAC systems is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
