Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with experience working in a dealership environment. This role requires proficiency in various mechanical systems, including hydraulics and electrical components, as well as the ability to perform welding tasks when necessary. If you are passionate about mechanics and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and suspension work including shocks and struts. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs. Repair or replace faulty components in hydraulic systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair. Experience with welding is a plus. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to work with various power tools safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. A valid driver's license is required.
