Job Description

Condustrial, Inc is now hiring a diesel mechanic in Taylors, SC.
Job Summary:
A Diesel Mechanic diagnoses mechanical problems, performs routine maintenance, repairs diesel engines and related systems, and ensures vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect diesel engines and identify mechanical or electrical faults. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication. Repair or replace defective engine components, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and fuel systems. Use diagnostic tools and computerized equipment to troubleshoot issues. Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Follow workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations. Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certificate or diploma in diesel mechanics or automotive technology (preferred). Previous experience as a diesel mechanic is an advantage. Valid driver's license may be required.
Skills Required:
Strong mechanical and technical skills. Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various conditions.
Work Environment:
Diesel mechanics typically work in repair shops, garages, transportation companies, construction sites, or industrial facilities.
