Job Description
Job description: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Service Technician to join our team. This position involves working both in-shop and on the road , during business hours and after-hours , providing high quality repairs and maintenance for diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and commercial vehicles. The service technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, handling emergency roadside service calls, and ensuring vehicles are back on the road quickly and safely. This role requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in varying environments. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and related components such as brake chambers, starters, hub seals, air dryers, etc. Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, brakes, tires, and inspections. Handle emergency roadside service calls for disabled trucks and heavy equipment. Operate company service trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner. Keep accurate records of services, parts used, and completed work. Communicate with customers in a professional, respectful manner. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment both in the shop and on the road. Requirements Valid DL Clean MVR Prior Diesel Mechanic experience is required Must be reliable and available during all hours, including nights/weekends, for routine and after-hours emergency calls . Primary/Secondary On-Call M-F and every other weekend shifts.
