Job description: May Trucking Company has an immediate opening for entry level to experienced Fleet Diesel Technician at our Lebanon, TN location. This position is day shift Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, must also have weekend availability. May Trucking Company is a drug free company

Compensation:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience and skill S chedule: 8-hour shift Occasional weekend availability

Qualifications:

Minimum eighteen 18 years of age Basic knowledge of vehicle systems Mechanical aptitude Willingness to learn and/or have experience performing Class 8 truck or trailer repairs and maintenance Willing attitude to use or learn diagnostic software used on vehicles Ability to work efficiently with a team or independently Be capable of maintaining regular and punctual attendance Carrier reefer experience a plus Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe, reliable, and within DOT compliance Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Class 8 truck and trailer systems and components Follow troubleshooting steps provided by manufacturer repair manuals and other resources Properly document work using Fleet maintenance software Communicate effectively with a customer service mindset Maintain a safe and clean work environment Candidates should be committed to safety standards and continuous learning.

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
