Required Skills & Qualifications A-level technician with diesel and gas engine expertise Hydraulics experience strongly preferred 5+ years of experience in diesel engine repair, mechanical knowledge, and diagnostic software preferred (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude are encouraged to apply) Safe driving record and drug-free (must pass a drug test) Physically fit to meet the demands of the job Position Summary The Agents Companies are seeking highly motivated mechanics to join our team in the Nashville Region. In this role, you will service and maintain large trucks in the foundation coating and material spreading division and help manage a fleet of over 250 vehicles. Whether in the shop or on the road, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards for fleet performance and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform lube and automotive maintenance Operate vehicles safely and provide mechanical support for fleet vehicles Conduct maintenance tasks indoors and outdoors, with the ability to bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed Lift up to 70 lbs repetitively Deliver excellent service to staff and customers Commit to a flexible schedule, with occasional 10-12 hour days as needed Maintain prompt, daily attendance at the assigned location Perform additional duties as assigned Compensation & Benefits Pay depends on experience Comprehensive benefits for full-time employees, including: Health & Dental Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Short and Long Term Disability Coverage Voluntary Life Insurance Paid Vacation Leave 401(k) Retirement Plan Career Growth Opportunities to grow and develop your skills A family-oriented culture
