Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Motorcoach Mechanic to maintain and service a fleet of Prevost entertainer coaches in Comfort, Texas. This position is ideal for a technician with strong diesel, electrical, HVAC, air brake, suspension, and diagnostic experience who takes pride in keeping coaches safe, reliable, and road-ready. Experience working specifically with Prevost X3-45 and H3-45 coaches is strongly preferred. Experience maintaining entertainer coaches, tour buses, motorcoaches, or similar heavy-duty passenger vehicles is a major plus. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled services on Prevost coaches Diagnose and repair diesel engine and drivetrain issues Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems Diagnose, service, and repair coach HVAC and air-conditioning systems Diagnose and repair air brake, pneumatic, and suspension systems Perform inspections before and after coaches are dispatched Troubleshoot coach systems and mechanical problems Perform road-call and emergency repairs when necessary Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Identify potential mechanical problems before they result in breakdowns Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Ensure coaches are safe, dependable, and ready for tour schedules Schedule & Availability This is a full-time, on-site position in Comfort, Texas . Specific regular work hours will be discussed during the interview process. Because our coaches operate on touring schedules, the mechanic must have some flexibility when operational needs arise.

This may occasionally include:

Early mornings or evenings when coaches are departing or returning Occasional weekend work Responding to time-sensitive maintenance or repair needs Helping prepare coaches for scheduled departures Occasional emergency or after-hours troubleshooting when necessary This is not intended to be a constant 24/7 on-call position , but reasonable schedule flexibility is important due to the nature of the touring and entertainer-coach business. What We're Looking For We are looking for more than a general diesel technician. The right candidate understands that an entertainer coach combines heavy-duty diesel systems with sophisticated electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, and passenger-comfort systems. We need someone who can diagnose problems, make quality repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and help keep our coaches on the road with minimal downtime. Touring and entertainer-coach experience is highly valued.

Pay:

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
