Full Job Description Daytime Roadside Service:

Respond to mobile breakdown calls in the DFW area during regular shift hours, performing rapid, on-site diagnostics and repairs (air brakes, jump-starts, fuel systems, forced regens, airlines, and basic electrical).

PMs & Fleet Maintenance:

Perform thorough Preventative Maintenance (PM) intervals, DOT inspections, fluid/filter changes, and brake adjustments on our Cascadias, VNLs, and other commercial trucks.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

Utilize our company-provided OEM diagnostic laptops to read fault codes, troubleshoot check-engine lights, and clear aftertreatment/DPF issues.

Component Repair:

Execute mid-level mechanical repairs, including suspension work, wheel ends, cooling systems, actuators, bolt-on engine components, and basic wiring/lighting fixes.

Communication:

Maintain clear updates with dispatch regarding truck repair status, parts needed, and estimated time of completion. What We Provide (Why Work With Us?)

Consistent Schedule:

Great work-life balance with a set 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM shift. No graveyard shifts or 2 AM highway calls.

Company Service Truck:

Dedicated, fully outfitted mobile rig provided for all field and roadside calls.

Major Equipment Covered:

We supply the air compressor, heavy-duty air/impact tools, torque wrenches, and fully licensed diagnostic laptops.

Experience:

2+ years of solid experience in commercial diesel truck repair and maintenance (Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo VNL experience is a major plus).

Technical Skills:

Strong working knowledge of air brake systems, PM inspections, basic electrical/wiring troubleshooting, and bolt-on component replacement.

Driver's License:

Valid Texas driver's license with a relatively clean driving record to operate our service truck (CDL is a plus, but not required).

Mindset:

Self-motivated, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both in the yard and out on the road.

Pay:

$1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
