Position Overview JPEC Services LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Technician to support commercial, state, and federal projects involving diesel-powered engines and backup power systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing diesel engines in the field and at customer facilities. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel-powered related equipment Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on diesel systems Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Conduct testing and operational checks of diesel systems Maintain service records and inspection documentation Respond to service calls and emergency repairs as needed Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members Required Qualifications ASE Certified preferred Experience working on diesel engines and backup power systems Ability to read, write, and speak English Valid drivers license with clean driving record Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass full state and federal background checks Must be willing to travel up to 75% as needed for projects throughout the United States Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting government or federal facilities Experience with emergency power systems Knowledge of electrical systems and controls Electrical license is a plus OSHA certifications are a plus CDL is a plusSimilar jobs in Florence, TX
