Apprentice Mechanic

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated Diesel Technician / Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in diesel mechanics or looking to grow their skills under experienced technicians. You will assist with maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment while gaining hands-on training. Key Responsibilities Assist senior mechanics with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines Perform basic services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire checks Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times Accurately document work performed and parts used Qualifications Enrollment in or completion of a diesel technology program (preferred) Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience (automotive or diesel) Strong willingness to learn and take direction Ability to use basic hand tools Skills & Competencies Positive attitude and strong work ethic Eagerness to learn and grow in the trade Attention to detail Ability to work well in a team environment Good communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to [50-100] lbs Ability to stand, bend, and work in various shop conditions Benefits (Optional Section) On-the-job training and mentorship Opportunities for advancement Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays

Pay:

$800.00 - $1,000.00 per week
