Diesel Mechanic - Volvo D13 / Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic We are looking for an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic / Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Volvo VNL 860 trucks and Volvo D13 engines and be comfortable performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

Tire replacement, repair, and inspection Brake inspection, maintenance, and replacement Oil and filter changes Sensor diagnosis and replacement Diagnose and repair oil leaks Diagnose and repair air leaks Perform preventive maintenance and general truck repairs Inspect trucks and identify mechanical issues before they become major repairs Keep the work area organized and maintain accurate repair records Use computer diagnostic tools to troubleshoot truck issues

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic Experience working on Volvo VNL 860 trucks Knowledge of Volvo D13 engines Strong knowledge of brakes, tires, air systems, oil leaks, sensors, and preventive maintenance Ability to diagnose mechanical problems independently Experience using computer diagnostic software/tools is a strong plus Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

Schedule:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday availability is required. The mechanic may choose to work either 5 or 6 days per week . If working 5 days, they may choose any other day of the week as their day off , as long as Saturday is worked. We offer flexibility in scheduling while requiring Saturday coverage. We are looking for someone who understands heavy-duty trucks, takes pride in their work, and can help keep our fleet safe and on the road.
