Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet, contributing to overall operational success. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Execute brake repair tasks, including air brake systems. Utilize welding skills for equipment repairs as needed. Transmit and solder electrical components to ensure proper functionality. Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as required during repair processes. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards. Skills Proficient in air brake systems and brake repair techniques. Strong ability to dig, weld, transmit, and solder various components. Experienced in automotive diagnostics for troubleshooting mechanical issues. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Knowledgeable in equipment repair processes and best practices.
