Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and diesel engine repair. If you are knowledgeable about hydraulics, tire service, farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
• Complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for repairs
• Work on a variety of equipment including farm machinery
• Perform heavy lifting as needed
• Service and repair hydraulic systems

Skills:

• Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately
• Experience with hydraulics and tire service
• Capability to work with power tools efficiently
• Familiarity with farm machinery repairs Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Previous heavy equipment and/or commercial diesel truck repair experience Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Must be dependable and able to work independently Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Must be able to safely operate and test-drive customer vehicles and equipment Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Must be willing to comply with random drug testing Reliable transportation Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position This is a Flag Hour / Flat Rate position.

Pay is based on completed labor hours rather than simply hours on the clock. Flag-hour rate will be based on experience and skill level.
