Diesel & Trailer Mechanic — Midland, TX Poff's Power Solutions | Full-Time | Shop-Based | 12-Hour Day Shifts Poff's Power Solutions is hiring experienced Diesel and Trailer Mechanics to join our growing team in Midland, Texas. We provide fleet maintenance, mechanical repair, and trailer services for oilfield operators, commercial fleets, and equipment owners throughout the Permian Basin. We're looking for skilled technicians with experience in diesel/heavy equipment repair, commercial trailer repair, or both . You do not need experience in both areas to apply. What You'll Do Depending on your experience and area of expertise, responsibilities may include: Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, commercial trailers, and semi-trailers Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, steering, suspension, and brake systems Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial trailers Repair or replace axles, hubs, bearings, wheel seals, suspension components, brakes, and air brake systems Diagnose and repair trailer lighting, wiring, and other electrical components Perform welding and fabrication repairs on trailer frames, floors, doors, and structural components Complete inspections and identify additional maintenance or safety concerns Assist with field service calls when needed Document completed repairs and communicate findings and maintenance recommendations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What We're Looking For Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, trailer mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, fleet mechanic, or similar role Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of diesel systems, trailer systems, or both Experience with brakes, suspension, electrical systems, hydraulics, bearings, or related components Ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently Welding and fabrication experience is a plus The Work Environment Our Midland shop services a wide variety of fleet vehicles, commercial trailers, and oilfield equipment used throughout the Permian Basin. Compensation:

$25.00-$32.00 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and position
