Experienced Diesel MechanicJob Overview 1-Way Diesel Performance is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician with strong knowledge of diesel engines, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. Our shop works on a variety of diesel trucks, commercial vehicles, and equipment, so we need someone who can accurately diagnose problems, complete quality repairs, and take pride in their work. Compensation Pay starts at $25 per flag hour and can range up to $60 per flag hour based on experience, skill level, productivity, and capabilities. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems Perform routine maintenance and preventative services Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, fuel, cooling, and other mechanical issues Diagnose and repair brake and air-brake systems Perform suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs Use diagnostic scanners, testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs or maintenance Work on light-duty and heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment Perform

HVAC/A/C

diagnostics and repairs when qualified Communicate needed parts, additional repairs, and job progress with the shop Accurately document repairs and work performed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow shop procedures and safety requirements Requirements Previous professional diesel mechanic experience required Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Experience using diesel/automotive diagnostic equipment Ability to complete repairs accurately and efficiently Heavy-duty truck or equipment experience is a plus Electrical diagnostic experience is a plus Welding or fabrication experience is a plus, but not required Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Must also be able to work well as part of a team Own tools preferred Valid driver's license preferred Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed, stop by 1-Way Diesel Performance to fill out an application , or send your résumé directly to us.
