Job Description Summary:

Philpott Ford is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our service team. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in heavy engine repair and maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and repair GM diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions components. Perform maintenance and repairs on transmissions, drivetrains, and differentials. Work on electrical and electronic systems, including sensors, modules, and wiring. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests using GM-specific tools and software. Perform brake, suspension, and steering system repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and warranty procedures. Complete detailed repair orders, documenting work performed and parts used. Assist with recalls, bulletins, and software updates for GM diesel vehicles. Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician, with a strong understanding of diesel engines. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
