MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
- We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our Odessa, TX yard. This will be a 50 / 50 yard and field position with responsibilities for all company equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform quality service and repair work on terminal and road tractor/ trailers, pick-ups as well as other equipment. Performs service work as required to support the operation. Coordinates services to ensure repairs are conducted in accordance to company schedules and approved standards. Implements processes to eliminate operational downtime and increase cost effectiveness. Verifies repair work is completed in accordance with company quality standards. Diagnoses and performs accurately all phases of fleet repairs including Tractors, Trailers, mid-sized pick-ups and small trailers. ​
Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of diesel mechanic experience Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management. Deadline and detail-oriented Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills Hands-on, self-sufficient and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude Ability to work successfully both individually and within team environments Works well in a constantly changing environment Clean driving record Ways to apply: Indeed online at www.americansafety.net Pay range depends on experience level.
