Full-Time Now Hiring Diesel Technicians - All Experience Levels Vernon Gene's Mega Truck Store , part of Doggett Truck Group , is growing and looking to hire Mid to Entry Level Diesel Technicians for our Odessa, TX locations . Our technicians work on heavy-duty diesel trucks , performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep our customers safely on the road. Technician Levels Level 2 Diesel Technician (Mid-Level Tech) Performs most repairs and diagnostics Engine work, electrical troubleshooting, and component replacements Continues developing advanced skills Level 3 Diesel Technician (Entry-Level / Apprentice) Preventative maintenance and basic repairs Oil changes, brake work, inspections Works alongside senior technicians while building skills What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid training and career advancement Stable company with long-term growth opportunities Supportive team environment Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Repair engines, transmissions, electrical, fuel, and emissions systems Document repairs and service work accurately Follow all safety procedures and shop standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Diesel technician experience or technical school training preferred Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair manuals Basic computer skills Must have personal technician tools Preferred Experience Freightliner or heavy-duty truck experience Cummins and Allison experience a plus ASE or OEM diesel certifications a plus Vernon Gene's Mega Truck Store - Doggett Truck Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
