Job Description

Automotive Technician -
Job Description Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and major repairs on passenger vehicles, including cars, light trucks, and SUVs. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine the root cause of problems. Repair and replace faulty components such as transmissions, engines, brake systems, steering components, suspension parts, wheel bearings, and electrical sensors. Use power tools, diagnostic software, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle systems. Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe and proper working condition. Maintain accurate records of all services, maintenance, and repairs performed. Follow safety protocols and shop guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Experience & Requirements:
Applicants are required to pass an initial drug and alcohol screening. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license. Five years of experience preferred, but not required. A willingness to learn is highly valued. Applicants must have their own basic tool set for automotive repair. Specialty tools and larger equipment will be provided by the shop. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with knowledge of domestic and foreign makes/models. Strong knowledge of engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and general automotive service. Ability to use power tools, diagnostic scanners, and shop equipment safely. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic software (e.g., Mitchell1, AllData, OEM diagnostic tools, OBD-II scanners).
