Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines, industrial equipment, and farm machinery. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and vehicle systems using schematics and electronic testing tools Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery Fabricate parts or modify equipment as needed to meet operational specifications using welding and hand tools Replace or repair transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, hydraulics, air brake systems, and alignment components Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive electrical systems and automotive diagnostics to identify faults accurately Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform tire services to ensure safety standards are met at all times Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with heavy equipment mechanics is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, HVAC systems, and vehicle maintenance Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for equipment repair or modification Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic systems troubleshooting Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, or farm machinery is a significant advantage Ability to use power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols in a maintenance environment Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Join us in maintaining top-tier machinery that keeps operations running smoothly!
