Automotive & Diesel Mechanic Western Diesel & Auto Solutions Springville, UT Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Mechanic experience Working as an automotive technician Driver's License Automotive mechanic experience Diesel truck repair Power tools Full Job Description Western Diesel & Auto is hiring a skilled Automotive & Diesel Mechanic / Equipment Technician to join our shop. This role works on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, including cars, pickups, diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment. We are looking for someone dependable, mechanically sharp, and comfortable diagnosing and repairing different types of vehicles and equipment. Diesel experience is preferred, but we are open to the right mechanic with strong automotive, fleet, or equipment repair experience. Duties Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs Work on cars, pickups, diesel vehicles, fleet trucks, trailers, and construction equipment Repair brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, cooling, electrical, and engine-related systems Troubleshoot hydraulic, trailer, and equipment-related issues as needed Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely Communicate repair needs clearly Maintain accurate service records Keep work area clean and safe Assist with general shop duties as needed Experience Automotive, diesel, fleet, or equipment mechanic experience preferred Diesel repair experience preferred but not required Construction equipment, hydraulic, trailer, or fabrication experience is a plus Must be dependable and able to work independently Must have strong problem-solving skills Own basic mechanic tools preferred Valid driver's license preferred Must be able to perform physical shop work and lift heavy parts as needed

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
