Job Description

Overview Join our small team as a Diesel Mechanic and be a vital part of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills in diesel engine repair, hydraulic systems, and vehicle maintenance while working in a well-established family business. Responsibilities Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and hydraulics on various heavy duty vehicles and trailers. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire service, oil changes and fluid checks to ensure optimal equipment performance. Prepare and organize parts, tools, and equipment needed for repairs while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for use in troubleshooting electrical systems, HVAC components, etc. Skills Mechanical knowledge and experience in Truck repair a must. Ability to operate power tools safely. Knowledge of diesel engine repair including air brake systems, transmissions, alignment procedures, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC components, and electrical diagnostics.
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
