Regal Logistics, one of the top 100 3PL's in the country is seeking an experienced Warehouse Mechanic for our Fife, WA facility. The incumbent will perform tire repair, mostly split rim, tube type wheels, vehicle repair and maintenance work for our trucks and forklifts in accordance with our in-house and manufacturers' standards. This is s a full-time, shop-based role focused on in-house fleet and equipment maintenance. This position does not involve field service or major engine/transmission rebuilds. "The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Duties include:

Inspecting defective equipment and diagnosing malfunctions. Diagnostic and repairs for propane forklifts Maintaining yard trucks, Class 8 tractors, propane forklifts, pallet jacks Verifying vehicle performance by conducting test drives. Adjusting controls and systems; changing oil, checking batteries, repairing tires and tubes, and lubricating equipment machinery. Adjusting brakes, clutches, and rear ends; writing clear parts requisitions and service write ups; properly handling warranty work. Keeping shop equipment operating and enhancing shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities that add value.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience. Must have knowledge of diesel engines; excellent diagnostic skills; ability to read, understand, and apply information from manuals and computer. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid Commercial Driver License is a plus, own tools, and strong work ethic.
