Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. In this energetic role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your hands-on skills will help keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting our commitment to reliable transportation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and systems issues. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements. Repair and replace mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension components, and electrical wiring. Change automotive tires efficiently using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety standards. Utilize auto estimating software to assess repair costs and communicate with customers about necessary services. Assist with auto body repairs and restoration projects when needed. Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle vehicle parts and equipment during repairs. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and automotive systems. Experience working with standard passenger cars as well as heavy-duty diesel vehicles. Proficiency in automotive tire change, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, auto parts, accessories, and auto body repair techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain repair needs to clients. Ability to perform vehicle inspections thoroughly and efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.
