Responsibilities Diagnose and perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy duty trucks and construction equipment including: air brake, hydraulics, exhaust, advanced engine and electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and computer systems Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs Comply with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements Document repairs and maintenance Inspections of equipment and parts Support in ordering parts, manage inventory, and manage quality and safety Support in special projects as needed
Salary:
Based on experience - starting pay at $28.00 per hour. Experienced applicants can expect a higher starting wage. Pay review after 30 days employment.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of experience working on heavy duty vehicles and equipment (required)
  • Experience with DOT inspections
  • Basic computer skills
  • A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to provide own tools
  • Hydraulic, engine, and electrical diagnostics experience (preferred)
  • Welding experience (preferred)
  • Ability to move/operate heavy equipment (preferred) Diesel mechanic and technician graduates encouraged to apply
