Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, and farm machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and have a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair, this position is perfect for you! Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems across diverse equipment. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Conduct heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery as needed. Fabricate parts or components using welding and hand tools to meet repair specifications. Complete detailed service reports and document all repairs accurately for maintenance records. Assist with vehicle alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC system repairs to ensure safety compliance. Support equipment assembly and perform routine inspections to prevent future breakdowns. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic with dealership or industrial background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and automotive systems. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and electrical system repair techniques. Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and use of power tools. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Valid certification in diesel engine repair or heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable.
