Job Description

Description:
Position Description Owns basic mechanic activities. Assists with advanced mechanic activities and shop cleanliness. •Quarterly Bonus Structure Accountabilities
BASIC MECHANIC ACTIVITIES
(40%) Perform basic maintenance (oil changes, lube, filters, brakes, etc.). Perform minor diagnostics.
ADVANCED MECHANIC ACTIVITIES
(35%) Clutch/suspension replacement and fix drivelines. Repair multiple systems (cooling, oil, DPF). Perform minor engine repair. Perform DOT inspections.
SHOP CLEANING
(10%) Pickup and organize tools & equipment. Sweep/clean floors after job completion. Dispose of waste/used products (oil, antifreeze, steel, etc.).
RECORDS MAINTENANCE
(10%) Maintain job records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.
ATTEND TRAININGS
(5%) Attend and/or participate in various trainings (online, manuals, etc.). Impacts Consistent practice of basic and advanced mechanic tasks. Improved safety and efficiency with clean shop environment. Increased skills through interaction with other mechanics and training materials. Hours 7am-5pm M-F Paid Holidays, Vacation & Benefits package available including 401K benefits, health/dental/vision insurance, etc. Bonus structure in place & awarded after successful completion of 90 days service.
Requirements:
Required Competencies Reliable attendance and openness to learn. Demonstrated ability in mechanic activities (basic & advanced) Clean driving record. Personal tool inventory Effective written and oral communication skills Fork lift certification Ability to use a tablet device Ability to read and interpret shop repair order forms, repair manuals and electrical schematics Ability to lift 75lbs and walk 10,000 steps per day on a regular basis. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred, ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing, and a pre-employment background check. Preferred Competencies Demonstrated competencies with basic mechanical tasks Obtained CDL or openness to obtain Demonstrated competencies with welding/fabrication ASE certified/successful Diesel Technology completion PI286590607
