Diesel Mechanic (10:00am-6:00pm) Fleet Maintenance | $28$34/Hour

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team on second shift . This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and service equipment to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in quality work and preventative maintenance. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on fleet vehicles and equipment Repair brakes, suspensions, steering, exhaust, and driveline components Conduct inspections to ensure DOT and safety compliance Troubleshoot breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently Maintain accurate service and repair documentation Communicate repair needs and timelines with management Keep shop and work areas clean and safety-compliant What We're Looking For 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience (required) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience working on medium-duty and/or heavy-duty trucks Ability to read service manuals and diagnostic tools Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Pay & Benefits $28-$33/hour based on experience Second-shift schedule Stable, year-round work Well-maintained fleet and organized shop Supportive team environment Why You'll Like Working Here Consistent hours and steady workload Respect for skilled trades and experience Clear expectations and structured maintenance operations Opportunity to earn more with overtime Apply today if you're an experienced diesel mechanic looking for stable, long-term work on second shift.
