Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Pay will be based on previous experience. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of machinery used across construction, industrial, and transportation sectors. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, and other critical components using schematics and diagnostic tools Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair needs or project requirements Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly by analyzing mechanical and electrical problems with precision and accuracy Complete routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan Assist in the assembly and disassembly of complex machinery during repairs or upgrades Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and diagnostic reports to ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards
