Responsibilities Perform diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and vehicle inspections Repair and fabricate components for heavy equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to assemble parts or repair damaged components Conduct heavy equipment operation tasks safely when required for testing or troubleshooting purposes Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed on vehicles and machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards Assist in equipment maintenance programs to maximize operational uptime and safety standards Skills Proven extensive mechanic experience working with heavy trucks and industrial equipment Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and vehicle electrical systems Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for complex machinery repairs Proficient with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting procedures for vehicle systems Experience with fabrication techniques including welding and metalwork for custom repairs or modifications Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large vehicles or machinery components Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs This role is perfect for motivated technicians eager to apply their expertise in a vibrant environment that values safety, precision, and continuous learning.
